The Hoosiers who will serve as torchbearers in Indiana’s Bicentennial Torch Relay were named Wednesday and include our own 107.3 WRSW’s Rita Price. Scott Bibler, Robert Lichtenwalter, and Dick Pelletier will have the torch carried on their behalf.
The Indiana Bicentennial Commission has selected more than 2,200 torchbearers statewide. The Kosciusko County Bicentennial Committee received more than 70 nominations, and could only select 22. The bicentennial torch will visit 260 cities and towns across the state and comes through Kosciusko County on September 29.
