Aaron Mclaughlin 18 will start his pro career with Legoland water ski shows in Winter Haven, Florida on October 2, 2022.
McLaughlin began skiing with the Lake City Skiers at the age of 14 as a beginner skier. His hard work and dedication have earned him the opportunity to reach his goal of becoming a pro water skier just weeks before his 19th birthday. If you’ve ever been to a Lake City Skiers show in the past 5 years you have probably seen him carrying pyramids, jumping, doing star strap doubles or demonstrating one of his other many talents on the water.
McLaughlin was born in Fort Irwin, California and moved to Warsaw with his family at the age of 2. He attended Warsaw Community Schools and graduated from Warsaw High School in spring of 2022.
Many members of the Lake City Skiers have joined the pro ranks over the 33 years since the team started performing water ski shows in Warsaw at Hidden Lake. There is still time to see a show this season on Sunday September 4th Labor Day weekend and their annual Allstar Show on September 17.
