Lowell Collins, 84, of Winona Lake, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Warsaw Meadows Care Center, Warsaw, Indiana.
Born on September 9, 1937, in Anco, Kentucky, Lowell was the son of Delza and Linda (Allen) Collins.
He retired from Dalton Foundry, Warsaw with 32 years of service. He loved working outdoors and he enjoyed going to garage sales.
Lowell will be lovingly remembered by son Lowell K. Collins; daughter Paula (Todd) Haines of Milford, grandchildren Ryan Smythe, Erik (Tiara) Jarvis, Heidi (Grant) Haines, Eric Haines, Tyler Collins. He is further survived by his siblings, Martha Tackett of Topmost, KY, and Pat Crider of Pikeville, KY.
He was preceded in passing his wife Betty Jo Collins on February 5, 2022, daughter Tammy Collins, both parents, brothers Robert, James, Bill, and Delza Collins Jr. and sister Glenna (Eugene) Amburgy.
A visitation with family and friends is planned from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral service in celebration of his life will begin at 12:00 Noon in the funeral chapel. Reverend Glen Hughes will be officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Silver Lake.
