A Lagrange County man was arrested Thursday after authorities say he stole a minivan, barricaded himself inside a residence and tried to hide in a refrigerator.
WNDU reports that 31-year old Travis Fullington was taken into custody by SWAT team members at an apartment complex in Rome City. Witnesses told police that Fullington had locked himself inside an apartment and that there was a shot gun and ammunition inside.
The SWAT team forced their way into the apartment to arrest Fullington. No one was injured.
