Police say a 22-year-old man has been arrested in the death of an Indianapolis convenience store clerk whose apparent shooter was caught on surveillance video skipping away from the scene. A police spokesman says investigators arrested Desi Thomas on Wednesday on preliminary murder charges that he fatally shot 45-year-old Harry Briggs during the June 4 robbery of Joe's Junction on the city's southwest side. Briggs died three days after being shot in the head in what police say was an unprovoked attack. Police say the gunman fired three shots before forcing another clerk to open the cash register and give him money. The second clerk and two customers weren't injured. It wasn't clear whether Thomas has a defense attorney.
