23-year-old Timothy Harter has been sentenced to prison after dragging another man on the road with his car. In April, police were called to a subdivision near East Dupont Rd. and North Clinton St. The victim was lying in the street and told police he called Harter for a ride. According to the Journal Gazette, Harter arrived with another person. The two then proceeded to rob the victim of $320. The man said he was then pulled into Harter's SUV, but only partially. That's when the car dragged the man down the road. Police identified Harter's accomplice as 33-year-old Tyquan Sewell. Harter confessed to police they went to meet the victim to steal his synthetic marijuana. Harter was sentenced to three years in prison, but two of them were suspended. Sewell was given the same sentence.
