Manchester Metals in North Manchester has permanently closed.
Workers were notified Wednesday that the plant was closing at the end of the day. The plant made a variety of metal products, from manhole covers to parts for parking meters, since 1911.
The North Manchester News-Journal reports 95 employees lost jobs due to the closing.
