Manchester University has added a new major. Beginning this school year, students can major in global health.
The global health major will incorporate interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary science components, with options for related courses in everything from social work to business.
The school says the major could lead to careers including community health worker, disaster relief support technician, health educator, pharmaceutical sales representative, or public health advocate and research coordinator.
