Marilyn J. Connors, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne on Wednesday February 23, 2022, at the age of 88.
Born in Illinois on September 27, 1933, she was one of three daughters of Samuel and Lillian McKendry. Marilyn spent more than 30 years working at R.R. Donnelley in various positions. In her last ten years there, she worked as a security guard.
Marilyn was a simple woman who enjoyed the small things in life. Simply spending time with her family gave her the most joy, especially time spent with her grandchildren. As a native of Chicago, Illinois, she was a die-hard Cubs Fan. She never missed watching a game, even in her later years. Marilyn also loved to read and play the lottery.
Those who survive to cherish her memories are her sons, Tim (wife, Kathy) Connors and Ted Connors; grandchildren, Nicole Marsillett, Chadd Shumaker, Todd Shumaker, Michael Connors, and Ryan (wife, Kristen) Connors; 14 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She is further survived by her nephew Paul Dombski Tulsa, OK, extended family members and friends. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Tere “Taz” Connors; and sisters, Shirley Dombski and Lorraine Happ.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted to the care of Marilyn. Friends and family may gather there for visitation on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. The Life Celebration® will begin at 6:00 PM.
