Mark Alan Holland of Warsaw, Indiana passed away at 10:54 p.m. at his residence at the age of 61.
He was born on December 15, 1959 in South Bend, Indiana to Karen Marjean (Lackey) Holland and Joseph Alan Holland.
Mark was a 1978 graduate of Warsaw High School and has lived in Kosciusko County, Indiana for the past 56 years. After high school he worked at Dalton Industries for a number of years before starting his career in flooring. Mark started working under George Young, then New York Carpet World, as well as in the Lowe’s flooring department. He was currently working with J Lane Flooring and Design all of Warsaw. Mark had a passion for the martial arts and studied under Master Park. He earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do and he was also qualified to referee matches up to the Olympic level. Mark’s greatest joy in life was bringing a smile to others.
He leaves behind his brother: Nathan Shawn Holland (Warsaw, Indiana); and Mark was an honorary member of George and Juanita Young’s family. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
Mark’s life will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Mike Hontz. A graveside service will follow at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw, Indiana. Friends and family may visit an hour prior to the service from 11:00 – 12:00 noon.
