Travis C. Marsh officially filed as independent candidate for Sheriff of Kosciusko County. The required petitions were certified after being turned in on Tuesday. The requirements having been met will place Travis Marsh on the ballot in the November election. Marsh is a 22 year veteran of law enforcement, and adjunct faculty member at Ivy Tech. He’s also a small business owner and has served 8 years as detective sergeant. Marsh seeks to bring a new leadership style to the Sheriff’s Department and to update several areas of operations. Marsh seeks to pursue accreditation of the department as well as dedicating officers for juvenile cases, warrants, and crime prevention.
