A memorial to one of the suspected victims of suspected serial killer Darren Vann has been built outside the abandoned Gary house where her body was found. Teaira Batey's longtime boyfriend built the memorial which included two white crosses with Batey's name and photograph, with four teddy bears hanging from the larger cross to represent Batey, her son and two daughters. Marvin Clinton wants others to know that Batey had a family and “wasn't a monster.”
