Over $25K in grant funds will help the Mentone Youth League make improvements to their ball park.
The League says a $24,815 grant from the K21 Health Foundation and a $7,500 grant from the Kosciusko County Community Foundation will help them to do some upgrades.
Mentone Youth League Vice President Michelle Goble tells News Now Warsaw the work will include replacing unsafe and old wooden bleachers and doing a building remodel.
A press release from the organization says they’d like to thank the community for the support in building the youth sports program into something the community can be proud of.
Registration for the 2018 season of softball begins February 3.
