With clear skies in the forecast over Indiana for the next few days, staying up late could serve you quite well. That's because the Perseid Meteor shower, is expected to hit its peak this week. You should be able to see as many as 100 meteors per hour streaking across the sky. The Perseid Meteor shower is the result of space debris from the tail of a comet that circles the sun once every 133 years. You don't need any special equipment to see the meteors; clear skies this week should make them easy to spot.
