A recent study conducted by University of Michigan scientists reveals that marijuana use among college students is on the rise. The results show more college students are smoking weed on a daily basis now than in the last 30 years. Specifically, more than 5% of the over 1,000 college students who participated in the survey admit to doing so. That means that 1 out of every 20 college kids smokes pot at least once every other day. Years ago, those numbers were much lower. The 1994 study shows that less than 1 out of every 50 college students smoked marijuana that often. This year's results also revealed that men are 3 times more likely than women to smoke marijuana.
