MILFORD — The Milford Food Bank will break ground on Wednesday for a new distribution center on James Street.
The 12,000 square-foot building will allow the operation to be more efficient and will include an office, according to Board President Joe Shetler.
Wednesday’s event is intended to draw attention to a $1 million fundraising goal.
Shetler said they are about one third of the way there so far.
They hope to finish construction in late 2025.
The groundbreaking is set for 3 p.m. Wednesday.
