Milford Man Charged With Burglary

A Milford resident was arrested Friday morning after allegedly breaking into Affordable Storage storage units.
Kyle Henson, 30, of 310 N. West St, Milford, faces two counts of burglary and two counts of theft. He was booked into Kosciusko County Jail on a $5,250 bond.
The owner of Affordable Storage, Garrett Howell, told police that the locks on three separate units had been cut between Sept. 21 and Sept. 29, according to the probable cause affidavit provided by the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office. Howell advised that Amanda Henson’s unit code had been used to enter the facility. Amanda is Kyle Henson’s wife. Howell observed a blue van enter the facility on surveillance video.
Police spoke with Amanda, who advised that she and Kyle were getting a divorce and that Kyle had possession of the van.
Friday morning, Milford police located the blue van and subsequently arrested Kyle. He admitted to police that he used his wife’s code to enter Affordable Storage and then broke into the separate units.
Kyle already had sold several items to Worldwide Pawn. Police confirmed with Worldwide Pawn that Henson did sell a compressor, speakers, a vacuum and a travel Pro tool.
