There were minor injuries reported following a two-vehicle crash involving a semi-truck and a car early Wednesday morning along US 30.
Pierceton Police say the call came in just before 7:30 AM for the crash along US 30 westbound at the intersection with County Road 900 East. That’s where 22-year old Samantha Love of Pierceton was waiting to turn onto westbound 30.
Police say that Love told them her view was blocked as she was getting set to make her turn, and after she did, she was rear-ended by a westbound semi, driven by 31-year old Gesus Albarado.
Police said Albarado was not at fault in the crash. He was not injured, while Love was treated and released at the scene. Damage was estimated at $15-$20,000.
