A St. Joseph County man has been charged in connection with the death of an inmate in the Kosciusko County Jail in March.
28-year old Christopher Susaraba of Mishawaka is now charged with dealing in a controlled substance and causing death and trafficking with an inmate. He’s accused of sneaking meth and heroine into the jail in a body cavity during his arrest for failing to appear for a court hearing on other drug charges.
Witnesses say he gave Dennis McCrory some of those drugs and McCrory overdosed.
Susaraba’s bond is set at $100,250.
