The Granger woman who prosecutors say left her fetus in a dumpster in Mishawaka will appear in court several times next month. Purvi Patel is still set for trial late in late January on feticide and neglect of a dependent resulting in death charges. Her lawyer has requested the feticide charge be dropped. There are two hearings before the scheduled start of the trial to discuss that, and other motions. The fetus was found in the trash bin outside Moe's Southwest in Mishawaka back in July of last year.
