A woman has been arrested and her children, injured, after police say she crashed her vehicle into a tree. It happened Friday night along Locust Road near Ireland Road. Police say the woman somehow lost control of the vehicle, jumped a curb, went through a fence and smashed into the tree. They believe her 2 year-old son was NOT properly restrained. He suffered a head injury was placed in a medically-induced coma. The woman's 6 year-old daughter received cuts to her face. The mother was arrested on preliminary charges of neglect of a dependent and driving without a license.
