A motorcyclist was killed in an Elkhart County crash.
A press release from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department says 26-year-old Travis Bowyer of Goshen was heading east on US 6, just west of CR 13, when his motorcycle went off the road and was thrown from the bike.
Authorities say Bowyer sustained head trauma and was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say Bowyer was not wearing a helmet.
Additional investigation is underway.
