A motorcyclist was injured at approximately 9:15 p.m. Friday when his motorcycle struck the rear of a car that had turned in front of him.
The motorcyclist was conscious and alert at the scene following the crash and was wearing a helmet, officers at the scene said. Witnesses said the motorcycle was traveling west on West Winona Avenue above the speed limit when a car headed north on Logan Street pulled out and headed west on West Winona.
The motorcycle struck the rear of that car. Following impact, the motorcycle was struck by a second vehicle.
