Muddy Run To Benefit JA, Scouts

Get down and dirty Sept. 12 at The Parkview Muddy Trail Run.
The event will be hosted at the Anthony Wayne Scout Reservation, 2282 W. CR 500S, Pleasant Lake, in Steuben County (10 minutes off I-69, exit 340), rain or shine.
Created for those who think differently about their running, the Parkview Muddy Trail Run isn’t your average 5K, according to a release from Junior Achievement. The fun begins at 9 a.m. and includes a mud pit, hay bale climb, river run and sand dune climb, all spaced out on the 5K course.
Participants can form a team or go solo. Registration is $45 per person and participants who register before the end of August will receive a free T-shirt. Every participant gets a sausage and pancake breakfast, too.
The Parkview Muddy Trail Run is a partnership of Junior Achievement and Anthony Wayne Area Council Boy Scouts of America. Proceeds will benefit both local organizations, and registrants can direct their support.
