The Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the discovery of some human remains in a field in Bristol. The remains were found by a person searching for mushrooms in the field in the 55-thousand block of County Road 27. The remains were recovered With the assistance of the Elkhart County Coroner’s Office and an anthropologist team. No word when the Coroner’s office will be able to determine the victim’s I-D and cause of death.
