A Syracuse man was taken into custody during a traffic stop on last Wednesday after drugs were found in his vehicle.
46-year old David Charles Reed is being charged with dealing and possession of methamphetamine, both felonies, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia, both considered misdemeanors.
NET 43 officials say they conducted a traffic stop on Reed on Hatchery Road along the southern shore of Lake Wawasee. During the stop, a K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics within Reed’s car. That’s when officers located methamphetamine, paraphernalia, marijuana, weight scales and empty plastic bags, while searching the vehicle.
Reed is being held in the Kosciusko County Jail with a $20,000 bond.
