Warsaw Mayor Joseph Thallemer will officiate an opening ceremony with a coffee toast at the new Dunkin’ restaurant Friday.
The event is planned beginning at 9 a.m. in the restaurant at 2234 E. Center St.
Free travel mugs will be given to the first 150 customers. (The restaurant opens at 6 a.m.) Also included will be 99 cent medium hot or iced coffee, entry for a raffle prize, $1 off a dozen donuts, and free medium or iced coffee with a donation of a $1 or more to the Salvation Army.
A representative from the local Salvation Army will be presented with donations collected from customers since the soft opening on Feb. 18, plus $250 from the Warsaw Dunkin’ location.
The new restaurant will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. It will be the only Dunkin’ in Warsaw after a location that closed in the area a few years ago. The restaurant will offer a drive-thru, free WiFi, On-the-Go Mobile Ordering and a wireless charging table, among other amenities.
Founded in 1950, Dunkin’ today, has more than 12,700 restaurants worldwide in 43 countries, including more than 9,000 across the U.S.
