If you ride in Indiana, new regulations have started this year. Because motorcycles are ligther in weight than a car, sometimes they have a hard time triggering a traffic signal. Riders would have to wait long periods of time before a light would cycle through to green, so a new law gives motorcyclists a safe and legal method to proceed through the light. The new law means motorcyclist can proceed through the left turn lane if the rider was waiting longer than two minutes and no other vehicles are crossing the intersection.
