The Kosciusko County Community Foundation is announcing the creation of a new endowment fund. The Clarence and Louise Cook Endowment Fund for Mobile Meals was established by an anonymous donor to provide annual support for the Mobile Meals Program.
Mobile Meals is a meal delivery service offered by Kosciusko County Senior Services. The group coordinates volunteer drivers to pick up hot, nutritious meals prepared by Kosciusko Community Hospital and deliver them to seniors in the community.
The anonymous donor chose to honor Clarence and Louise Cook because the Cooks worked hard for many years to contribute to our community and were generous in giving from their own garden.
Louise has since passed and Clarence has retired. He’s now in his nineties and is himself a recipient of Mobile Meals.
