Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson announced a new mobile voter registration app in conjunction with National Voter Registration Day. The app allows Hoosiers to register to vote, along with many other services, via their smart phone. Hoosiers are encouraged to register to vote using the new app for National Voter Registration Day on September 23, a massive 50-state effort to encourage civic participation. The new app will allow Hoosiers to register to vote or confirm their voter registration, look up their polling place, get driving directions to their polling location, find out who’s on their ballot, track their absentee ballot application and contact local election officials. It is a full service application designed to make voting easy for Hoosiers by making election information accessible from anywhere. To Download the app, search “Indiana Voters.”
