A Niles teenager has pleaded guilty in connection with a hit-and-run death. Josh Anglemyer was just 17 when he left the scene at State Road 933 and Auten Road back in March. Prosecutors say one of the victims, Michael Marks was was hit by a driver who stopped. But then, another pedestrian, David Fordyce, stepped into the road to try to direct traffic away from the victim, when he was struck and killed by Anglemyer, who then fled. Charges were filed in Superior Court against Joshua Anglemyer in April. He was charged with Failure to Stop After a Serious Injury Accident Resulting in the death of David Fordyce. A Delinquency Petition was originally filed against Anglemyer in juvenile court in March. In April, Anglemyer was ordered waived to adult court. A tip to Crime Stoppers led police to the teen. Anglemyer faces up to 4 years behind bars when he's sentenced in late October.
