If one utility companies projections are accurate – heating bills will be lower this winter. NIPSCO released its price forecast and residential gas customers could see prices as much as 30 percent lower than last winter. The company says current supply, market trends and weather forecasts go into the estimate. Of course, all those factors change if the weather is more severe. The study gauges weather from November to March.
