WARSAW — The cause of a house fire Tuesday morning at on CR 450E, Warsaw, remains under investigation.
The fire spread quickly and the home was completely destroyed.
According to Pierceton Fire Department Lt. Nathan Rhoades, the home was a double-wide house that had several additions on it with a wood-burning furnace.
The call came in shortly after 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The homeowner is Adam Pamer, according to county records.
Pamer was at work at the time in Plymouth and returned home and used a loader truck to remove debris so firefighters could get to the hot spots.
Gusty winds fueled the fire.
No injuries were reported.
Along with Pierceton Fire Department, responding to the scene were North Webster, Warsaw and Leesburg fire departments with Sidney on standby. An estimated 20 to 25 firefighters were on the scene.
