A North Manchester man was killed in a single vehicle crash that happened early Saturday morning.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the crash at the intersection of Country Club Road and County Road 200 South around 2:30 AM. An initial investigation shows that 51-year old Anthony Wayne Sumner was eastbound in a pick-up truck on 200 South and failed to stop at Country Club Road.
Sumner’s pick-up truck went through the intersection and struck a tree on the east side of the road. Sumner was pronounced dead at the scene by the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation.
