North Manchester is starting their first competition only Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) traveling cheerleading squad. An information meeting well be Thursday, August 4 at 7 p.m. at the Town Life Center in North Manchester.
Tryouts will be at the same location on Sunday, August 14th from 4-6 p.m. and August 15th & 16th from 6-7:30 p.m.
The AAU Club Cheer Cobras is a traveling competition only squad that is made up of area wide individuals from different counties that will participate in local competitions as well as out of state as a unified team. Club cheer will strengthen their confidence, people skills, self esteem, and team building.

The Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) is one of the largest, non-profit, volunteer, sports organizations in the United States. A multi-sport organization, the AAU is dedicated exclusively to the promotion and development of amateur sports and physical fitness programs.
AAU is a national organization that holds a national championship competition aired on ESPN, as well as the annual Junior Olympic games.
