The North Webster Public Library has selected their new library director to replace Helen Leinbach Frank, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Heather Barron will take over the position effective the first of the New Year. Barron comes from the Plymouth Public Library, where she has been the director for nearly four years. She also served as the director of the Bourbon Public Library prior to that for eight years, and was also a Peace Corps. volunteer in Zambia.
Barron is a Triton High School grad and received her Bachelor’s in Public Relations from Purdue and a Master’s in Library and Information from Indiana University.
