A North Webster man faces felony intimidation charges after a domestic dispute. 35 year-old Johnathan Heckaman was arrested and booked after an incident in his home Tuesday morning. The responding officer reported that Heckaman used his crutch to “fend off” his girlfriend after she spilled beer on him.
The girlfriend claimed Heckaman hit her on the thumb with his crutch and she threw the beer at him. She also said that last month he had openly discussed a case against him in Kosciusko County Superior Court, and allegedly stated that he knew where the judge lived and would kill him if things didn’t go his way in court. Last week she showed investigators text messages that echoed the threat against the judge.
