Two northern Indiana institutions have been recognized as great employers. The Great Colleges to Work For list is from the Chronicle of Higher Education. Notre Dame made the honor roll for large colleges. UND was cited for compensation and benefits, work/life flexibility, supervisors and confidence in leadership. The survey said, “Notre Dame is on a mission to do good in the world…that's what makes it a great place.” Manchester University, in North Manchester, was also recognized for its adminstration and confidence in leadership. Quoting the report, “faculty and staff believe in its core mission to respect the infinite worth of every individual.” and “faculty challenge students and hold them accountability for quality.”
