The 26th edition of ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” will feature Notre Dame’s heroic basketball player Arike Ogunbowale.
Ogunbowale achieved national stardom when she hit two buzzer-beaters in the NCAA women’s basketball tournament to help the Irish win the national title.
It was announced that Ogunbowale will be paired with professional dancer Gleb Savchenko.
She’s not the only basketball star to appear on the show. One of her competitors will be NBA hall of famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. The 7-2 center will be paired with Lindsay Arnold, who won the competition last year with Jordan Fisher.
Others selected for the show include former figure skater Tanya Harding and former Packers wide receiver Donald Driver.
