WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Historical Society will reopen the Old Jail Museum to the public for the season on Wednesday, March 6.
The Jail Museum is at 121 N. Indiana St. in Warsaw.
This year’s featured exhibit will showcase the history of the circus in Indiana. The exhibit features a wide array of antique posters, pictures, artifacts and models.
In addition, the museum will host an event on June 21 in conjunction with the Third Fridays program that will have a circus theme.
This year, the museum will feature an exhibit of turn-of-the-century dresses worn by prominent residents of the county.
The museum welcomes school, church, and civic groups for private tours, or is open during the week for self-guided tours as well.
Hours for the museum are Wednesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The Kosciusko County Historical Society is always looking for volunteers and new members.
