A caucus is to be held this Thursday to fill an open seat on the Turkey Creek Advisory Board.
County Republican Party Chairman Mike Ragan says the position is being vacated by Kim Cates, who was appointed to serve on the Kosciusko County Council.
As of Friday, only Sylvia Gargett had applied for the open seat on the Turkey Creek Advisory Board, according to the Times Union.
The deadline for filing a declaration of candidacy is 7 p.m. Monday.
