WARSAW — The Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club has announced details for the annual Optimist International Essay Scholarship Competition.
The deadline for submitting entries is noon on Feb. 3.
The contest is open to anyone under 19 in Kosciusko county as of Oct 1, 2022, who is enrolled in K-12.
The topic is “Who is an Everyday Hero that Brings out the Optimist in You?”
The essay must be an original essay with limited guidance from others. Essays must be between 700-800 words and there is a specific format provided.
