The Kosciusko Economic Development Corporation (KEDCO) and RAZOR Medical Instruments Inc. (RAZOR) announced RAZOR has completed the company’s relocation to Warsaw.
Founded in 2016 in New Hampshire, RAZOR is an instrumentation and technology company developing single-use instruments for the orthopedic joint replacement industry. The single-use instruments facilitate the migration of total joint procedures from the hospital setting to ambulatory surgery centers and RAZOR technologies will reduce current inefficiencies associated with many reusable instruments, according to a news release Tuesday from KEDCO.
Following an extensive site search process, RAZOR decision makers committed to relocating the company’s offices to Warsaw, and team members recently opened a 2,500-square-foot office at 1055 Mariners Drive. Some employees have already relocated to the area, and RAZOR plans to hire more than 60 additional employees over the next three years, the release states.
“Northeastern Indiana offers an impressive concentration of resources in the medical device field,” said Bruce Khalili, president of RAZOR. “Being in Warsaw is a strategic move for RAZOR. It permits us to leverage the availability of technical talent and manufacturing expertise in the field of medical devices.”
Several organizations supported RAZOR through this growth and relocation process. The company has worked closely with AcceLINX, a musculoskeletal health business accelerator launched by OrthoWorx, since 2019. AcceLINX assisted RAZOR in refining its quality, regulatory and marketing programs to prepare and bring its products to market.

KEDCO, the city of Warsaw and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) have also worked alongside RAZOR to offer support.
In a news release earlier this year, the company shared it plans to invest more than $3.4 million to establish its new headquarters location and grow its team. The IEDC offered RAZOR conditional tax credits and training grants based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired.
The city of Warsaw and KEDCO partnered to offer RAZOR a forgivable loan to offset costs to relocate the company’s operations to the area, to move employees to the area and to establish the Warsaw office, according to the news release.
