Today is Election Day, and while long lines and waits are expected at the polls throughout the area, early and mail-in voting was not shy of anything quiet.
Kosciusko County Clerk Ann Torpy says the final early voter total was 11,809 and 4,020 ballots were mailed out. That’s already a 20 percent voter turnout.
Polls are open across the county until 6 PM tonight, and there have been some polling place changes. You can see the full list of Kosciusko County polling locations, along with those changes here. Local election results will also be posted on the website as they come in this evening, which you can find here.
We will have live and local coverage from the Clerk’s office tonight starting at 6:50 PM, with state and national updates from our partners in Indianapolis and New York City through midnight.
