Paragon Medical is teaming up again with the American Red Cross of Kosciusko County’s Disaster Partner Program. It is Paragon’s third year participating in the program, which includes support of local disaster responses that provides assistance to Kosciusko families in the way of shelter, food and clothing, as well as training for Paragon employees who desire to respond locally when the time comes. Each year local businesses partner with the local Red Cross chapter to support disaster response to Kosciusko families who’ve experienced a disaster. This local support allows the Kosciusko Chapter to respond and offer assistance to families who’ve experienced the devastating loss of a house fire, or a natural disaster. In the past year, trained local Red Cross volunteers from the Kosciusko Red Cross Disaster Action Team responded to dozens of fires and one tornado, where immediate assistance was given to the families affected.
