The City of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department announced several events happening in December for the Christmas season.
The Parks and Recreation Department will be offering “Letters from Santa” again this year.
Forms are available now in the park office or on its website at www.warsaw.in.gov, and letters must be received in the park office by Dec. 14. Cost is $2 per letter.
“Light Up The Night!” is from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 4.
Celebrate the first lighting of the Central Park Holiday Light Display. Walk through the festive lights and enjoy holiday performances in the park.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will ride in the First Friday Twinkle Parade at 7 p.m., which starts downtown and will arrive at the park by 7:30 p.m. to visit with children. Children also will receive holiday glow necklaces, while supplies last.
Christmas Countdown is from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 11.
Celebrate the holiday season with crafts, hot cocoa, cookies, music and more. Santa will make a special appearance at the event, so bring your camera to snap a picture of the kids. Gold Level Sponsorship is provided by Kosciusko Community Hospital.
