Minimally invasive robotic technology is now available in Kosciusko and Whitley Counties.
Parkview Whitley Hospital unveiled its new da Vinci® Si robotic technology on Tuesday.
Parkview Physicians Group general surgeon Dr. Francisco Reyes says it will prevent many of the issues associate with traditional surgery.
“As a surgeon, I am able to make a much smaller incision, and I have a three-dimensional, high-definition view of the site during the procedure. All these things can help provide less discomfort and a faster overall recovery for the patient,” explain Reyes.
Reyes will be the first surgeon to offer the minimally-invasive procedures at Parkview Whitley Hospital beginning next month.
