A 12-year-old passenger was injured in a two-vehicle accident north of Warsaw on Wednesday.
The accident happened on State Road 15, South of Monoquet Road in Plain
Township at 5:36 p.m.
Emergency personnel arrived on scene and found a Toyota driven by Kaila Conley, 32, of Warsaw, and a Subaru driven by Arwen Wilson, 18, of Warsaw, involved in the crash, according to a news release from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office.
Preliminary investigation determined that Conley was pulling out onto State Road 15 from a business and pulled into the path of the Subaru driven by Wilson who was Northbound on
State Road 15.
Neither driver was injured, but a 12-year-old passenger in one of the vehicles suffered head injuries and was taken to Lutheran Fort Wayne for treatment of his injuries. He was later transferred to Riley’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.
The Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Warsaw Police Department, Plain Township Fire Department, Warsaw-Wayne Fire Territory, Crouse Wrecker Service, and Kosciusko County 911 Dispatch Center.
The crash remains under investigation by the Kosciusko County FACT Team.
