Patty Jo Hauth, of Warsaw, passed away on December 31, 2021, at Millers Merry Manor- Warsaw at the age of 87.
She was born on May 19, 1934, in Lafayette, IN to Donald and Clara Ponder Gordon. She was united in marriage to Austin Dunn Hauth on October 3, 1954, in Warsaw. They celebrated 62 years together before his passing on January 4, 2017.
Patty grew up in Kosciusko County. She graduated from Warsaw High School in 1952. She was a homemaker and loved sewing. She did craft shows for many years where she sold her lace pillows that she hand made. She was also known for her yo-yo quilts. Patty and Austin spent 25 years in Sebring Florida and moved back to Warsaw in 2008.
Patty is survived by her daughter, Susan “Sue” (Michael) Zellers of Warsaw; grandson, Matthew Zellers of Warsaw; granddaughter, Jennifer Zellers of Indianapolis; and sister, Phyllis Huffer of Juneau, AK. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Austin; and sister, Donna Gordon Hearn.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services in entrusted with Patty’s care. She will be laid to rest with her husband Austin at Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw. A private graveside will be held at a later date.
