Governor Mike Pence addressed the public this morning to clarify the intent of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act. What many believe is an act for religious groups to discriminate against gays and lesbians, pence says this law does not give anyone a license to discriminate or deny services. He says we need to confront the problem, which is the perception of this bill. Pence is now asking for legislation to be added to this law, making it clear that the law can not be used to deny services to anyone. Pence said he wants to make it clear that Hoosier Hospitality is not a slogan but our way of life.
